Northshore Grease Trap was founded on a simple idea: do the job right the first time, show up when you said you would, and document every gallon. That's not a slogan — it's how a veteran-led crew gets up every morning.
After serving in the U.S. military and returning home to the Northshore, our founder kept hearing the same complaint from restaurant owners across Hammond, Covington, and Mandeville: "Why is grease trap service so unreliable?"
Crews showed up late or not at all. Compliance paperwork was missing or wrong. Used cooking oil disposal — which should be free — was getting billed as a "service fee." Health inspectors were citing kitchens for problems that should have been the service company's responsibility.
So we built Northshore Grease Trap to do it differently: a small, accountable, veteran-led crew that treats every restaurant like a partner, not a route stop.
It's not a logo on the truck. It's how we operate. Trucks leave on time. Crews show up in clean uniforms. The manifest gets written before we drive away. The phone gets answered — even at 11pm on a Saturday.
If we tell you we'll be there at 6am, we'll be there at 5:55. That's the whole playbook.
Founded and operated by U.S. military veterans. We bring the same standards we learned in service to every job.
Based in Madisonville, LA. We live in the same parishes we serve — and our reputation walks into the same restaurants we eat at.
Real humans answer (985) 602-1747 day or night. No menus, no offshore call center, no waiting on hold.
Quotes are quotes — not "starting at" numbers. No surprise fuel surcharges, no environmental fees added at the invoice.
Every job ends with a signed, dated compliance manifest in your hand. Your health inspector will love it. So will your insurance company.
From Hammond to Franklinton, Covington to Denham Springs — across Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, Livingston, Washington, and St. Helena parishes. If your kitchen is on the Northshore, we're already in your area weekly.
If your trap backs up on a Sunday night, we'd rather hear about it than let you start Monday with a fine.
Real feedback from local restaurant owners and kitchen managers.

"Finally a company that understands Louisiana regulations. The compliance documentation they provide is perfect every time — my health inspector specifically commented on how thorough it is."
One call to a veteran-owned team. No call centers, no run-around, no surprises.
